While the learning of ancient languages is chosen by a few pupils, Robert Delord, teacher in the city of Dié (France) knew how to convince the pupils and students that our everyday life is marked by the Latin and Greek civilizations. He realizes with his classes an exhibition on brands and marketing, which are widely inspired by the tongues of our ancestors. This movie emphasizes the teacher’s various approaches: from the outing to the museum to the comparison between the European languages, through etymological research works. Guy Cherqui's reflections, educational inspector, punctuate the documentary. This one regrets that too often this teaching is not run in its just value.
