To go off to explore a fusional relationship between men and iron machine, such is the purpose of this journey diary, « The ladies of the Mont-Blanc ». Leaving from St-Gervais, the Mont-Blanc streetcar, pushed by 3 emblematic heads named Marie, Anne and Jeanne, has been allowing us since 1914 the access at the top of the Mont-Blanc by « the Normal Way », from its terminus the « Nid d’Aigle » in a 2 700 metres-height. This train links cities to high mountains, between grand landscapes and technical exploit, between history and humanity. It is a character of this mountain, strongly connected with it, thanks to the passion of its technicians, drivers, mechanics and inhabitants.
