Boney Fields is a joyful and volcanic tornado. The stage is the mighty showman’s homeland, and he spreads his good mood like wildfire. Born in the Chicago ghetto in the late 50’s, raised with gospel preaches before growing up in the famous electrical blues whose sound has become emblematic of this city, the trumpet player fed himself with the legacy of the American black music touring with Buddy Guy, Bootsy Collins and Luther Allison, before finding his own signature. Thus blues, soul and R&B, mixing the jazz subtlety and the rock energy, the man with the round hat can lean on the crazy rhythms of his crazy Bone’s Project to create original compositions that integrate the best of the funk repertoire.
